Tesla Delivered 308,600 Vehicles in Q4; Over 936,000 in 2021

Tesla has announced its Q4 2021 delivery numbers, producing 305,840 cars and delivering 308,600 vehicles.

“In the fourth quarter, we achieved production of more than 305,000 vehicles and deliveries of over 308,000 vehicles. In 2021, we delivered over 936,000 vehicles,” said Tesla in a press release on Sunday morning.

Tesla produced 13,109 Model S/X vehicles and delivered 11,750 of these cars, while the bulk of orders were the Model 3/Y, seeing 292,731 produced in Q4, while 296,850 of these vehicles were delivered.

“Thank you to all of our customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and supporters who helped us achieve a great year,” said the company.

Wall Street estimates pegged Tesla’s Q4 deliveries at 265,000 vehicles, so the automaker exceeded expectations for this record quarter.

As for 2021 production, Tesla saw 930,422 cars made and 936,172 cars delivered, both records for the company.
