The German site 4KFilme has published Samsung TV renders, which is supposedly the “completely frameless” 8K-TV with a QLED panel. The device is likely to be unveiled at CES 2020 – it will begin next week. It is claimed that the new product will go on sale as a model Q900T and Q950T.
The frame around the screen will probably remain, since the design should provide not only the proper rigidity, but also protection. However, even from a short distance the frame will be invisible (an exception, apparently, is the bottom panel).
The frameless 8K-TV will be another demonstration of the technology of the Korean company and will certainly cost like a car. Or a small apartment.
