Huawei MateBook X comes out with a possible 13-inch screen, more details will be announced on August 19
Huawei officially announced the release of MateBook X, Huawei’s thin and lightweight flagship will be launched on August 19, a flagship slim design laptop in the high-end segment. As the release date approaches, news of the brand is circulating across the Internet.
On the subject of screen size, which users are more concerned about, it turns out that Huawei’s new MateBook X will have a 13-inch screen, compared to the 13.9-inch screen of the MateBook X Pro.
The MateBook X Pro will come with a 13.9-inch screen in a 3:2 ratio with 3K resolution and touch support.
The MateBook X is positioned to be slimmer and easier to carry, and as previously reported, the notebook will have a floating 3K full screen without a metal frame.
In addition, the laptop’s touchpad has been significantly upgraded. The new MateBook X uses a MacBook-like pressure-sensitive FreeTouch touchpad solution that includes NFC syncing for easy collaboration across multiple displays, according to a tip from @DigitalGossipStations. It also features a narrow bezel design with a high screen-to-body ratio.
According to Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business, the manufacture of this thin and lightweight flagship product took three years, and more technology innovations may still need to be announced. So the interested users can follow the launch of Huawei’s new product on August 19.
