Tesla bull predicts Elon Musk could be a trillionaire in four years
Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk could become the world’s first trillionaire by 2025, according to a report. An analysis by Ark Invest Management, whose chief Cathie Wood has been a longtime Tesla bull, predicts that Tesla stock may hit $1,500 mark on a bear basis by 2025 and $4,000 per share on a bull basis.
“If Ark is correct, then by 2025, Elon Musk will be a trillionaire. Elon currently has 241 million shares of Tesla and will get eight more CEO compensation bonuses totaling another 12 million shares,” according to a report in the blog NextBigFuture.
It said that at $4,000 per share, those 253 million shares would be worth $1.012 trillion. “Elon’s net worth would also be boosted by the future value of his 54% ownership of SpaceX, 80% share of Boring Company and 90% share of Neuralink,” it said.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk is the second richest person in the world now with his total net worth estimated at $164 billion. Amid frenzied buying in Tesla stock, Musk was earlier in January crowned the world’s richest man, before Jeff Bezos reclaimed the title. Tesla stock jumped more than 740 per cent last year.
The vast majority of the 49-year-old self-made billionaire’s net worth is locked in equity of his companies, including Tesla, and privately held SpaceX and the Boring Company.
