Deutsche Bank Eyes Savings on Travel and Office Costs.
Deutsche Bank AG will seek to save costs by asking staff to continue traveling less after the coronavirus subsides, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung reported, citing an interview with management board member for technology Bernd Leukert.
“We probably wont have to fly as much for the foreseeable future,” Leukert said. “When it comes to travel, companies had a lot of untapped potential for savings.”
Germany’s biggest bank may also need less office space given more employees can work from home and it could invest the money it saves on rent in technology and products, he said.
